I'll Love You Forever - Maternity Shoot

Liz-

I was lucky enough to have an old friend from Montreal message me through Facebook a few weeks ago. She absolutely loved what Dave and I have done with our photography and asked if we would shoot her maternity pictures. Dave unfortunately was out of town for the weekend, however I took on the challenge of photographing my very first solo gig! ;)

I came up with the "I'll love you forever" theme when my friend told me her story. She had been through a lot emotionally, and was finally (in the last stage of pregnancy) able to relax and enjoy all the beauty that comes with it.

I must admit that I always had this idea in the back of my mind for the time Dave and I start a family, but I knew this would be something my friend would love and appreciate more than I could.

Congratulations to you Steph, I wish you all the best and I can not wait to meet your little man!

My niece, Meaghan, has been taking acting lessons and really seriously wants to be an actress. During her recent visit, I took her into the studio to do some fun headshots. We had a blast!

Stephanie and David are two incredibly happy people. We just had such an awesome experience capturing their love and documenting such a happy occasion. Even for late autumn, it seemed like the mother nature was on our side and wanted these two to have a perfect picture day. The weather although brisk, was sunny and left a wonderful glow everywhere we went! Stephanie and David, you both make such a beautiful couple and we were honored to photograph you. Hair Photoshoot for Becke

Wow! This was a little different. My hairdresser asked if I would be in-front of the camera for this shoot! While Dave and I take pictures of each other all the time, I normally save them for my Facebook profile picture and don't actually post them for the world to see! However, this time around, I decided I would show at least one part of the 808 team. Photographs were taking at our home in Burlington, Ontario. My wonderful husband and partner took these photographs. Hair done by my amazingly talented hairdresser, Becke. Her co-worker Kellie did my make-up. Both work at Shear Creations in Burlington, Ontario and I highly reccomend trying it out! I've been a loyal client of Becke's for 9 years now and she devotes so much time and effort to her craft it's mind blowing!

Thank you Becke for making me feel beautiful and thank you to my loving husband who was able to catch that beauty!

We were so happy to go out on a beautiful fall day to photograph this photogenic family! They were so sweet and gracious and just an absolute delight to photograph. This was the first time the family had gotten a family portrait done as a group and we were so happy that they choose us to capture all the wonderful memories!
